1. What BroJo said caught my attention. Having a 200 TPE limit that you can have every season, instead make it 155 TPE per season. This stops inflation, and in 10 season the MAX tpe you would get is 1705 TPE not everyone would get this as sometimes there wouldn't even be 155 TPE a season which is fine. This will also help with Regression, especially since after 10 seasons, some people will get lazy and wouldn't even do the 155 TPE per season anymore. So good Idea by BroJo

2. Limit the amount of Uncapped TPE for PT. 6 Uncapped TPE max is good for the season. This does not count predictions. PbP give 3 Uncapped with a max of 15 TPE. We can reduce this and have 2 Uncapped with a max of 10.
Put a limit of Weekly training, instead of people updating every week +5 for 1 million, have a cap of 40 or 50 even. (TTC and Gear count towards this)

3. Raise the amount of money it costs for weekly training, or reduce the amount of TPE you get for 1 million.
Example: 1 mil for 4 Capped TPE
500k for 2 TPE
200k for 1 TPE
OR
1.5mil/2mil for 5 Capped TPE
1mil for 3 or 4 TPE
500k for 2 TPE
200k for 1 TPE

This could help reduce the amount of TPE gain through training, as it cost more and people have to work harder for money unless they sign gigantic contracts.

We could go even more in depth with a even new update scale but this will effect those who don't update/do PTs anymore.

50-70=1
70-80=3
80-90=8
90-99=10 or 12

Which is something I wouldn't want to do again. Smile)

I don't think update scale would work.

90 TPE to get from 90-99? No thanks.

fuck a new update scale, #2 is basically taken care of in the new PT system (which still needs to be implemented properly cough cough)

season training limit is a good idea, and less TPE for training

I hate it too its just an option that can be edited Smile)

I think reducing the amount of TPE for training would work though.

Another way would be to reduce the amount of TPE an SMJHL rookie can earn in his/her first season. Like BroJos 200 TPE limit per season, for SMJHL you could cap it at 120 so that still gives you 275 TPE at Seasons end. Then after that it can go up to 155 after that.

OP updated with fixes to my brain farts at Number 1 Smile)

Why don't we want 1000 TPE players?

Not trying to be a dick, I'm just curious. I don't think I've ever heard why.

What exactly is bad about it?

It's not that we dont want 1000 tpe players, we don't want 1000 TPE players in like 3-4 seasons of playing in the league.

Update scale is a bad idea, it just gives an excuse to hand out more TPE.

- Ragnar - 11-24-2014

We just changed the update scale. And it was a pain in my asshole. Let's not do it again.

Understandable. We don't want 2000 TPE players right?

Sort of BS that generations of players got easy TPE in jr's and now the next generation gets screwed.

It was mainly the S19/S20 group, with select individuals from the S15-S18 (not really that strong of drafts)

Yeah, and by this rate, many of you may hit 2000 tpe, but wouldn't have a use for it lol
