- Sam_Bennett's_Pullup_Coach - 01-03-2015 Vancouver Whalers vs Kelowna Knights A penalty in the first minute to Vancouver kicks this game off and Kelowna starts this game on the attack. They finally open up the scoring at 8:14. Vancouver's Jaime Hill then takes control, responding with 2 goals of his own. Cole Hogan would add another and the first period ends 3-1 Vancouver. Kelowna is clearly frustrated in the second frame taking the only three penalties. They successfully killed the first, but Vancouvers high powered offense found a way on their second power play. The goal coming on the stick of ZzJack's Robot Gwenaël, netting his first goal of the season. We open the third tied in shots, but Vancouver with a healthy 4-1 lead. The Knights come out strong getting an early goal. After Kelowna's Dolph Ziggler takes an interference call to save a goal, both teams get too active with their sticks taking high sticking penalties, and punches begin to fly. Mariusz Kwik and Cole Hogan both serve 5 for fighting. On the ensuing man advantage Vancouver's Jaime hill scores for the Hat trick! They will hold on to win 5-3. 3 Stars: 1 - Jaime Hill (VAN) 2 - Truck Stoker (VAN) 3 - Vladimir Tarasenko (KEL) Final: 5 - 3 Detroit Falcons vs Montreal Impact Zach Morgan takes an early hooking penalty, and Montreal will capitalize on the power play taking an early lead. Detroit's Clay Parker responds with two even strength goals of his own and Detroit takes over the lead going into the second period. The Impact start the second quickly, evening up the score 20 seconds into the frame as Vuro Vlaters gets his first of the year! MTL stays aggressive and pays the price with a holding penalty 2 minutes later. The Falcons will score on the power play with a booming shot from Clay Parker for the hat trick and the lead! Detroit takes a bad diving penalty to open the third period, and Montreal will make no mistake tying up the game at 3! Both teams will trade chances and penalties, but the third period will end in a tie. The Falcons take control of the overtime and Nils Wahlstrom will bury the game winner, capping off his own 3 point game! 3 Stars: 1 - Clay Parker (DET) 2 - Chico Four-Byrde (DET) 3 - Nils Wahlstrom (DET) Final (OT): 4 - :impact: 3 St. Louis Scarecrows vs Regina Force Regina gets the game underway early with a high sticking penalty to Brandon Pomery. After a successful kill Regina rallys to open up the scoring at 4:16. Regina pepper the Crows with shots on two unsuccessful power plays. St. Louis comes out guns blazing in the second period getting a quick goal 2 minutes in, but then take a bad tripping penalty. Regina regains the lead with a power play goal by Charlie Winchester! St. Louis will not denied however scoring 3 goals 7 minutes to take a commanding 4-2 lead! Regina takes the offensive in the third, but the St. Louis defense stays strong albeit taking a couple penalties. Both teams will score one more time to finish the third, but it was never close as St. Louis's Axel Reid got his second of the year first in the frame. St. Louis takes this one on the road 5-3.
