<b><div align="center">CAREER HIGH SEASON FOR BERGER</div></b>

EDMONTON, AB - It's been an incredible ride for the Edmonton Blizzard. The team finished second in the Western Conference and the League with 64 points that was tied with the Los Angeles Panthers, but due to the ROW tiebreaker they lost that spot. Their second place finish guarantees them home ice advantage through the first round, which their opponent will be the Texas Renegades. Edmonton's one of the most well rounded team in the league as the scoring comes from every line including Berger's third and fourth line. Despite being the second most talented center on the team, the coach has decided to play him outside of their top six, which Berger has excelled at. Not only has Berger found himself centering those lines, but the coach has him on the penalty kill and powerplay. Berger averages 22 minutes per game and four of those 22 minutes are Berger helping out on the special teams this shows how much the Edmonton Blizzard's coaches' trust in Berger has increased over the seasons.

Berger's season turns out to include a career high in goals tallying 15, points recording 36, hits with 62 nearly doubling his previous career high, and shots blocked with 16 that is seven more than his previous mark. However, this season Berger saw his face off percentage drop from 53.45%, which was ninth in the whole league last season to 50.29% this season. Berger recorded a minus two plus/minus rating this season as well, which isn't good enough for someone trying to become a top two way center. Although, some could argue that the fourth line, the line that Berger had centered throughout the season was the worst defensive line on the Blizzard team.

"This was a great season on your part as you continued to train intensively, but excelled on the ice as well. How'd you get there?"

"It was a fun season here in Edmonton this happening to be my third season and a half here. I love the fans here and they've supported me the whole way, but the coaching and training staff has got me here. They've pushed me through the practices to work on other aspects of my game as I've tried to become a stronger two way player. I love it here. It definitely helps that I've been on a line with budding star, Kaner and hall of famer, Keener."

"Touch on how you've became an all around center this season."

"Well, when Keenan was switching to the winger position we were losing someone who'd been playing everywhere. On the special teams, even strength, everything. The managers brought in a young player in Ratzy, but the kid wasn't an all around player, so the coaches had me working to become a two way center through the off-season. I committed to it and now I'm here."

"After an incredible run last season that ended in a close loss to the Los Angeles Panthers in game seven. How have you guys regrouped from that loss and how are you focusing on your next opponent, Texas Renegades?"

"That game was a hard one to swallow, but so is every loss. To think we were so close, but we're going to come back harder this season. We've worked harder, we're being pushed harder. We showed it in the regular season and I hope we can continue to do so in the playoffs. We need to play Blizzard hockey."
