It is with a heavy heart that I'm here to announce the trade of the greatest Stelhawk to play. Joe McKeil has done more for this organization than anyone else has. As a GM from S11-S15 Joe managed to lead the Steelhawks to their first Challenge Cup victory as well as producing a overall record of 149-81-20.

Joe is a class act, and when he approached me about a possible trade I told him he had free reign to pick any team in the league that he wanted, and I would move him there. As hard as this move is to make, the Steelhawks management knows that it's in Joe's best interest to join a competitive team where he can see top 6 minutes. We wish him nothing but the best.
Thank you for everything you've done for myself, and for Hamilton. When I joined the site just over three years ago Joe was the first person to really take the time and help me learn the ropes of the SHL. Without him I would have gone inactive. He made a trade to bring me onto the Firebirds when I was in the NWJHL, and four seasons later he made a trade to bring me to the Steelhawks.
