Some people must be wondering how come Armin Brovalchuk didn't sign with the Calgary Dragons, and complete the tour of the league he started many seasons ago.
Well turns out Armin is getting really old, and he's not as valuable as he once was. I stopped updating Armin expecting to be done this tour 2 seasons ago, expansion slowed that down and now im down around the 600 TPE mark, and that makes me a pretty weak centerman in today's SHL.
That being said, when I contacted Calgary, their answer was straight forward, they were too deep and had no room for me. Which is completely understandable, although it will keep me forever one team short, I have no choice but to accept this fact and take my services to a team that has room for me.
My two first options were Winnipeg and Toronto as both have played a huge role in my time here in the SHL. Toronto was my first love, when I Co-GMed them with Abdalla, and Winnipeg drafted Armin. There were some other teams that I would have loved coming back to, like LA and Seattle who I had great times playing for, and Manhattan who I won my only cup with. However I decided to go with Toronto. I would like to thank JNH for finding a spot on his team for Armin, and I hope Armin can deliver just one last time in the SHL.
So with that statement I'd like to officially announce that this season will be Armin Brovalchuk's final season in the SHL.
