The Jets are happy to announce the following draftee signings:
F Johnny Watson
S28: $3.0mil
S29: $3.0mil
S30: $3.0mil
We're so happy that Watson was available to us in the 2nd round. He was a target of mine before the draft so having the chance to draft him was great. We can't wait to see him develop into a great player!
F Wesley "Wes" Wells
S28: $3.0mil
S29: $3.0mil
S30: $3.0mil
Another player that we were happy fell to us in the 2nd round. We think we drafted a gem in Wells and he's ready to become the steal of the S28 draft!
D Marc-Andre Malkin
S28: $3.0mil
S29: $3.0mil
S30: $3.0mil
In our initial scouting we had Malkin penciled in as a first round pick so we were pleasantly surprised when he was still available at our first 2nd round pick. We jumped at the chance of adding this defenseman and believe he'll become a staple on our blue line for many seasons!
