The one day oilers fan can feel good about their team. In the 80's the Oilers would considered to be one of the greatest teams in league history as they won 5 cups in 7 years. Now they attempt the opposite, 5 1st overall picks in 7 years.

I've seen every NHL game Ovechkin has played and let me tell you Laine has the more in common in his style than any prospect I've seen in the last decade. He has that it factor you look for in a superstar.
If I'm an NHL GM looking for a superstar to be the face of my franchise, I move EVERYTHING to get Laine. Kid is going to be an elite goal scorer and worth the price of admission.
