For the last couple seasons, since Jackson's retirement really, the biggest question mark for the black and silver has been goaltending. We've proven that we can be compeititive without a high TPE goaltender, but our main focus this offseason was to address the issue to ensure that we will cement ourselves back into the upper echelon of the Western Conference. We were VERY active in grabbing this free agent and feel that he gives us the best opportunity to be competitive moving forward. With that said we are pleased to announce the newest Renegade:

S31: $7,000,000 + $2,000,000 Bonus* NTC
S32: $7,000,000 + $2,000,000 Bonus** NTC</div>
* - Bonus can be acquired if Storm updates four (4) times per season (from beginning of preseason to end of the Challenge Cup Finals)
** - Player Option in the final season
We are very excited to bring <a href='index.php?showuser=1174' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Storm</a> into the mix. I've been very adamant to my team and the league that we will remain competitive and our goal is to bring a Challenge Cup back to Texas. With Storm on board I feel that we are poised to push Edmonton for a spot atop the West and look forward to getting over the hump in the playoffs.
