- GroupMeIsKindOfOkay - 07-21-2016
9. - Ace Redding Redding makes a ton of sense at this pick for multiple reasons. One being that he has already played for the Halifax Raiders. Redding was a late free agent signing for the Raiders last season and played the last 8 games of the regular season and 6 playoff games. He's familiar with the team so it would be a smooth transition into a full time roll in Halifax. Redding has huge upside and I'm confident that Raiders management sees that upside as well. 8. - Brynjar Tusk Don't expect Tusk to light up the scorers sheet, but he is a hard-nosed defensman with a knack for physical play. The Mammoths could use a shutdown defender and they would absolutely get that in Brynjar Tusk. Tusk has some history with the Mammoths organization with his mentor Gil Lemar being a former GM for the franchise. This selection seems like a no brainer to everyone involved. 7. - Komel Kaspark Unlike Brynjar Tusk, you should absolutely expect Kaspark to fill up the scorers sheet. Kaspark is a Czech defenseman with enormous offensive potential. He's a tremendous puck mover with great vision on the ice. His shot could use some improvement, but every player in the draft has areas that need work. Vancouver would be the perfect spot for Kaspark to grow as a player.
|
