- NUCK - 07-24-2016
In today's installment of our S30 SMJHL rookie class, will will dive into some of the best prospects coming out of Germany. Eduard Selich AKA Tomen hails from Fulda Germany and is already a local superstar at the tender age of 18. The 5'11 195 pound sniper is pure offense. This young left winger is grace on ice! He has a unbridled eye for finding the back of the net with his pure scoring ability and gets himself open with his quick skating and puck handling abilities. What he lacks in the checking department is more then made up for with his flair in the offensive zone. Expect big thing from this kid as he is sure to produce. Maximilian Wehner AKA InciteHysteria is a wall of a net minder. This hybrid tender stands at a hulking 6'6 and 205 pounds but dont let his size surprise you. He is agile as a cat and quick as a mouse, he is thought to be the most agile and flexible goalie in the entire draft class. There is talk from the German international team officials already, that this young man is being groomed as a pure bread starter for there club. Time will tell but hopes are high as all eyes are on him in the coming years. Geronimo Otto AKA tweedledunn closes out our top 3 German prospects. He is a natural center with some great play making potential. Standing 6' and 195 pounds he is one of, if not the top center in this seasons draft. Passing, puck handling and blazing speed this young German is guaranteed to dazzle fans with his hockey sense and pure play making abilities. All though young and unproven he has proved time and time again that his work ethic is second to none. Like most European play makers he does lack the physical dominance required in the north American game but we are sure that will not hurt his draft stock!
- Tomen - 07-24-2016 Thanks for giving some Players some media exposure. NUCK - InciteHysteria - 07-24-2016 Absolutely awesome to be getting a lot of hype today. Felt a little behind the rest of the goaltenders so far. I am excited for the opportunity to anchor the net for Team Germany for years to come. Would mean a lot and would be a wonderful experience. I'll be working my ass off to be the best goaltender in this draft. Thank you for the article Nuck! - NUCK - 07-24-2016 Your welcome boys, now go out and whore up some TPE for yourselves!
