I've wanted to run one of these since I found out about them, so I'm psyched to be doing this. I want to put my own spin on it, so it's going to be a jersey change sig tournament. The winners will be decided by popular vote. As an incentive for people to try this out, there's an entry prize!

PRIZES:
$200k just for entering, up to the first 10 entries*
$500k for 3rd place
$2m for 2nd place
$5m Grand Prize for 1st place!

* In order to qualify for the entry prize, a submission must follow all the rules and meet all the guidelines. You're still free to submit after the entry prizes are gone, but I won't have any more money to give you for it, lol.

RULES:
- PM your submissions to me. Do not post them in this thread.
- One submission per user.
- Submissions open now and close next Sunday, 8/21, at 11:59PM PST.
- On Monday 8/22 a voting thread will be posted to decide the winners.
- Voting will close Friday, 8/26, at 11:59PM PST, with the winners to be announced the following day.
- All prizes, including entry prizes, will be submitted for payout once the winners are announced.
- This is a blind vote, so if you publicly disclose which submission is yours in any way, you will be disqualified from all prizes (including entry prize). [Note: you won't be disqualified for having your entry be a sig for your own player, but please try not to do that?]
- It should go without saying, but no ripping off anyone else's work.
- Don't be a dick. I reserve the right to disqualify people for being unnecessarily rude or hurtful in any threads about the tournament at my own discretion.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- Jersey changes are MANDATORY for this tournament. The render must be wearing an SMJHL or SHL jersey on every entry.
- Use a high-quality player render.
- Make sure you include an SMJHL or SHL player's name.
- Use a robust editing software. GIMP is free.
- Try your best, or at least make it look like you tried. No paint sigs. Trying to game the system for the entry prize without putting in any actual effort will not be tolerated. I know that perception of effort can be very subjective, but basically just don't abuse the entry prize.
- Have fun!

Basically, you CAN use your own player, but I'd prefer if you didn't to maximize anonymity for the voting process.

Good to see more sig tourneys but the thought of doing jersey changes makes my blood boil and my piss fizz so I'll sit this one out, good luck to everyone who does enter tho

No but I'm in the same boat. Made my first sig today on the baseball league and it only ended up being like a 5 or 6 / 10. Really have to learn to do font
