Zach Hoover here with all your TSN insiders Truck Stoker and Pyle Krince here on the day before Free Agent Frenzy, my insiders and I will be looking at a player that is on many team's watch list during the Free Agency Period. He's a two time Challenge Cup Winner and is currently in contention for the Anton Ratzov Trophy

It'll be an anxious night tomorrow in New England as star winger Patrikov Bure will be heading into free agency and could very well be leaving the city he won two cups back to back with. Some fans may be wondering why Bure hasn't resigned yet, our TSN analyst; Truck Stoker has an idea. Truck, why hasn't Bure signed yet with New England and what are the chances that he returns or leaves to a different team?

Truck:
Well Hoover, first of all New England is certainly trying to get Patrikov Bure under contract during the free agency period, there's no doubt about that, I don't think they are going to stand by, they are going to try to get Patrikov Bure to stay in New England. The reason Bure hasn't signed with them yet is that he said that he wanted to experience FA and see what is he worth around the league and also be able to choose his own destiny if he desires. The chance of him leaving vs the chance of him staying is really hard to judge. I am going to say 50/50 as he has said that he is in no way against returning to New England but I think there is also a likely chance that he could be leaving as well.

Hoover:
Alright thanks Truck, before we go any farther, let's take a look at Patrikov Bure himself and the skills that he will be bringing to whatever team he goes to. Pyle bring it away.

Krince:
Thanks Hoover, To help the audience understand his abilities more exactly, we have a Player Attribute Ratings chart here given by the SHL.

Code:
CK = Checking: 73
FG = Fighting: 25
DI = Discipline: 62
SK = Skating: 91
ST = Strength: 90
EN = Endurance: 90
DU = Durability: 40
PH = Puck Handling: 94
FO = Face Offs: 75
PA = Passing: 99
SC = Scoring: 87
DF = Defense: 90
PS = Penalty Shot: 40

Taking a look at Patrikov Bure, he's clearly a prolific scorer in the SHL, he's got nifty mits to dangle around defenders with and he is among the best in the league when it comes to passes. Despite what I say about his passing ability, he doesn't often rely on this to get the job done as a scorer, he prefers to shoot the puck over pass it. In the past two seasons, he's 45 goals and 66 assists, making him safely over a PPG rate. He's no slouch physically or defensively either, he's playing on the New England Wolfpack PK lines and he registered 136 hits on the season making him an all around elite player.

We're not done with the regular season though, as a two time Challenge Cup winner, he brings his skills into the playoffs as well. In the past two seasons he's been above PPG in the playoffs as well as he scored 17 goals and 19 assists in 35 games.

From the stat lines and his emergence as an elite forward from the past 2-3 seasons in the SHL, it's not hard to see why he's being looked at by a few teams to help boost their offense and bring in a veteran presence who can produce in the playoffs.

Hoov:
Thank you Prin- I mean Krince for the analysis of Patrikov Bure's game. Before we end off on our segment, Patrikov Bure's agent has given us a message to show on the screen of few words to the SHL teams looking to give him a contract on what he will be looking for and what to expect during the free agency period

Patrikov Bure's wants for his contract:

Money
Good team, preferably top playoff team.

Bure won't be around in the morning once free agency officially starts. He'll be online for sure, but he is busy with work so waiting for him to message you back is probably not possible. Best of luck to all the teams and Bure awaits your offers!
