- HabsFanFromOntario - 12-14-2016 Per Bojo and I's discussion the following changes will be made to send down and call ups: 1. SHL GMs will be required to give up to one sim advance notice of a call up via the thread as well as PM. If the teams agree the player can be called up earlier but a minimum one sim advance notice must be given. 2. SMJHL GMs who double play their players due to a lack of corrections will face these penalties: First time offenders: 4m Cap Reduction Second time offenders: Unable to sign free agents for the rest of the season and a 10m cap reduction the season following Third time offenders: Removed from GM position. This is subject to time frames as well, if they're spread across a number of seasons, leniency may be given but not necessarily. - Possum Queen - 12-14-2016 RIP Tanner's S20 playoffs - HabsFanFromOntario - 12-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by Tanner@Dec 14 2016, 12:09 AM Shut up Eggy Sr. ![]() - Possum Queen - 12-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by HabsFanFromOntario@Dec 13 2016, 11:10 PMSir Eggton III - Wally - 12-14-2016 Someone found their bible to throw today - Eggy216 - 12-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by HabsFanFromOntario+Dec 14 2016, 12:10 AM--><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1' id='QUOTE-WRAP'><tr><td>QUOTE (HabsFanFromOntario @ Dec 14 2016, 12:10 AM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--> <!--QuoteBegin-Tanner@Dec 14 2016, 12:12 AM Sir Eggton III[/quote] Wot - sash - 12-14-2016 What the fuck - prettyburn - 12-14-2016 I think it's good to have clear boundaries here, but do you have a way to enforce the PM portion of the notification? Maybe have some punishments in place if an SHL GM doesn't give proper notification, just given how strong the reverse punishments are? And do the same punishments somehow apply if a send-down doesn't get taken off the SHL lines?(Maybe the HO thread where this all happens already has those in place, but wanted to check in). - Wally - 12-14-2016 Removed as a GM for a two part mistake? Seems ridiculous for a damn MISTAKE. Literally 99.9% of these issues is due to communication. Yes it is part of the job, along with nearly how many other tasks?! A simple rule change in saying you must PM a GM a day in advance would have sufficed as Bojo told us yesterday, but instead we must have our hand held while we walk down the road of how we can get screwed out of a job that we not only have respect for, but clearly already enjoy regardless of pay and amount of work it entails. Instead of publicly calling out your GMs or privately shaming them, try picking up a dictionary and finding the definition of the word 'tact' before swinging your damn gavel. - ArGarBarGar - 12-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by Wally@Dec 14 2016, 11:29 AMSeems to be pretty clear to me. SMJHL GMs will be able to contact the HO if they double-play a player without being notified of a call up, and if the SHL GM cannot provide proof they sent a PM then the SMJHL GM doesn't get punished. What's the problem? - Wally - 12-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by ArGarBarGar@Dec 14 2016, 09:33 AM It is clear. Crystal clear. Great job HFFO. Adding to my rule book of punishable offenses. - Merica - 12-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by Wally@Dec 14 2016, 10:29 AM Follow the rules and life is simple. - Wally - 12-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by Merry Christmas@Dec 14 2016, 09:41 AM Continuing to. - Tomen - 12-14-2016 Only thing left to do is to add this to the SHL and SMJHL Rulebook I think. Unless I missed it ![]() - Wally - 12-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by Tomen@Dec 14 2016, 10:11 AM Maybe the NHL should enforce a similar punishment... They Play Two |
