Today we are gathered here at the downtown Dallas franchise of Rick James' China Club. He has asked you all here to help him with a review and season ending press conference. He soon will be getting ready to participate in the upcoming IIHF World Championship tournament, so we'd like to thank him ahead of time for taking time for the SHL media and other outlets today.
Texas GM Geoffrey Allen steps to the podium and addresses the room full of writers and reporters. Allen says " Thank you everyone for joining here today in the fabulous China Club, to show our appreciation Rick has set up the first round on the house, so please get your drink order in before we get started, the staff is awaiting and ready to serve you. Now onto the business at hand."
Rick played in his 300th career game at seasons end, posting a new career high in goals (13), assists (9) and points (22). He also set a new career high with 155 checks. He had one game winning goal and lead the league in shooting percentage at seasons end. Most of this was achieved playing on TEXAS' second line. He also saw a career high in minutes played on the power play with 124. His TPE is near the 950 mark and could be near 1000 by early next season. He was the first star of the game two times this season, second star twice and third star once.
With that being said we are now going to turn things over to Rick, let him speak for a moment and then he will answer any questions you might have. With no further adieu ladies and gentlemen, I give you Rick James !

2. I like crispy bacon. To each his own but you can never go wrong with crispy. Not near as greasy that way either. Next question n***a !

4. IRL I've been boring lately, just listening to NHL Network on Sirius XM. I move around the rock channels after that. Ozzy's Boneyard and Hair Nation are two of my favorite channels.

2. I'm not even gonna lie. I don't pay attention to that mess and I never have. I think Cody was in my class and I think he's proven he was worth the pick. I think I've been a good SHL player that teams would love to have. I'm a team guy, I'll play any spot you put me in and I make it hard on the other teams better players. What's not to like n***a?
3. Everything happens at the China Club. They know me because I own and operate it my man. There are three in total (Los Angeles , Vancouver and Dallas). Now that the season is over , spend all the time you want here unless you are headed over to the IIHF tournament. You'll have the time of your life my man!

1. Everybody got to add to defense and checking to start. Waaaaaay too many knw goal losses this season. One hit, one blocked shot and maybe we're in the playoffs instead of talking about them. Our team has got to be more physical, but that's just from my point if view.
2. It's not a lot different, we've gone out in the first round each season I've been here. It still sucks.
3. Maybe if they are from here. I don't venture outside of here to other leagues. This one takes enough time to be honest, and I'm trying to keep it fun. I don't see it being fun if I try to double the load.
