Spreadsheet here

GVT (Goals Versus Threshold) is a standardized statistic that measures "the value of a player, in goals, above what a replacement player would have contributed." It adjusts for minutes played and for team success, so someone who played well on a shitty team will be recognized accordingly, as will someone who played well but lacked in ice time. A full explanation (including how it's calculated) can be found here: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3

This year's notes:
-Leading the league in GVT this season is Chernika Banananov :admirals:, with 23.810.
-Following close behind:
-Linemates Pedro Sarantez (21.773) and Theo Kane (21.703) of the Blizzard
-The best defensive player was Maria Maximova Platoon with a DGVT of 7.074
-Luke Atmey Steelhawks led rookies this season with a GVT of 10.950, leading the team's forwards as well.
-Showing the disparity between the top and bottom ends of Edmonton's roster, the league-lowest GVT belonged to Chico Salmon Blizzard, who sat at -6.356.

AVt: Assist Value (varies team to team)
TOCf: Threshold offensive contribution per minute (forward)
TOCd: Threshold offensive contribution per minute (defenseman)
SVg: League total saves by goalies
SFg: League total shots faced by goalies
SPa: League average SV%
GAA1: League average GAA (only calculated using starters)
SPt: Threshold SV%
SAa: League average shots allowed by team
SAt: Shots allowed by each team
SPMteam: Fewer shots allowed than league average (a negative value means the team allowed more than the league average)
ADMPt: The team's total adjusted defensive minutes played ("defensive minutes" are calculated differently for forwards and defenseman)
GF: Team goals for
GA: Team goals against

This is always a cool breakdown but i dont understand how you come to the numbers you put in this post when the spreadsheet tells another story.

And I want the TLDR report please :D

What do you mean "when the spreadsheet tells another story"?

Might be a bit of a stretch, but can you throw in there TPE/GVT or some metric to relate TPE to this GVT score?

138.776, 14 more than the 2nd one and like 24 more than the 3rd. 1st sv% and had the highest shots against by a mile.

Still probably gonna lose out on goalie of the season because i play on a bad team. RIP.
