Earlier today, Winnipeg GM Luke Fleming announced that former Falcons co-GM Zach Evans would be moving on to the SHL as his co-GM of the Winnipeg Jets. Everyone here in Detroit is thrilled for Zach and we wish him nothing but the best in his new position.


Zach's departure, while rather sudden, did not leave Detroit management scrambling to find a replacement. Detroit has had the pleasure of employing one of the greatest scouts in the game and we're excited to announce that our Head of Amateur Scouting, Alexis Metzler, will be promoted to the co-GM position with the Falcons.

Congrats <a href='index.php?showuser=2271' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-17'>Avakael</a>! You were essentially a 3rd GM for Detroit for the past few seasons, so I know you've got what it takes to step into this role and thrive Towel
