Hi there! new to the site and you're wondering what's all this IIHF stuff?.. so a full SHL season takes about 5 weeks which is followed by a 2 week off-season where players leave there teams to play for their country in an olympic style event named the IIHF! its great and it will part of your player's legacy.
Sure you can play for the big teams like Canada and the USA who have huge rosters where it may take you more than half your career to make the team and 75% of your career to start... or you can look over some of the smaller nations who are young and hungry to make their mark.. like Team Austria!
With Austria a player has the best of both worlds, we have a great roster that has a chance to make the medal rounds each season but were always looking for players to come in and make an immediate impact. opportunity to play and the chance to win gold.. what more can you ask for each season!
When declaring your birth nation.. become Austrian and join our family in the fight against big brother while creating a lasting legacy for your new player!
