As many of you are aware, we are working towards making a move to a new forum this coming off-season. We have been working hard on getting the new forum ready, and today I wanted to share a feature I've been working on for a while.
I have created a form for player creation. The form automatically populates a player page and posts it in the appropriate forum. While using the form selections such as Position, Player Type, and Weakness affect other portions of the form. For example, if you select Defense as a position, you will be given the defense player types as options. When you then select one of those player types, the strength and weakness options are limited to what is available for those types. Whatever weakness you select will then use the weakness update scale when adding your TPE in the Player Attributes section.
This link goes to our test site, nothing there will carry over to the new site, so if you feel like making a player using the form, go ahead:

I am open to feedback on the form, feel free to let me know here if you see any issues.
If you want to test you can make a new account or perform a password reset (assuming your SHL account is from January or before), just note that emails from this forum will probably go to your spam folder.

Turns out it works, you just have to pick an archetype before it updates the strengths/weaknesses. Not sure if you care about that, but I don't think it's an issue worth fixing.

If HO is willing to create a system where they identify what pages need to worked on/created and people get paid based on developing the site I'd be happy to do that. If not then I'm still happy to offer help, but I don't want to sink too much time into a project that I won't be getting paid for.

My only complaint is everything shifts to the left when you select goalie.
But when that is my only complaint you've done a great job.
