HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT OUT OF PRINCE GEORGE - ml002 - 06-28-2018
Some of you may not be aware, but earlier this week I was named the Head GM of PGF. Well it's with a bit of a heavy heart that I announce that the Prince George Firebirds are moving and rebranding. I love the PGF brand and I'll always hold a special place in my heart for it, as I won a Four Star Cup here as a player and ended the drought. However Sleepy and I talked early last season about possibly redesigning, and ended up deciding to open it up to the team and alumni. After several months and a lot of ideas and designs, we have finished what we think is a great relocation/rebrand and now I have the pleasure of presenting it to you all. Let me present to you all…

All credit goes to @spooked (logo) and @mdubz (jerseys) for how great this all looks. They took our idea and ran with it and hopefully, regardless of how you feel about the move, you can see the incredible work these two did with this project. We really feel like this brand fits the city of Anchorage, as it boasts one of the key military bases of the US, is an upgrade in terms of population (300k vs 74k in PG), and fits the feel of Juniors hockey. I look forward to all of your opinions

While the logo and jerseys look great, I do not endorse this. I never played for Prince George, but it is a historic and landmark franchise for the SMJHL dating back to the NWJHL.
But damn does it look good ...
