Graphics Contests - Format & Past Winners - King - 08-18-2018
SHL Graphics Contests
Starting in S43 the graphics teams decided to use graphics contests as a way to channel the SHL's collective creative energies into improving the overall experience of the SHL.
Format:
- Each season will have a maximum of two graphics contests.
- Once the contest is announced any member of the SHL can anonymously submit up to three entries to the head of graphics.
- Once the head of graphics has decided, entries will be closed and judging will commence.
- The graphics head will select a panel of 10 judges who receive all the entires with out the submitters name attached to it. To remove bias.
- Each judge gets a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place vote.
- Scoring is as follows. 1st = 50 points, 2nd = 40 points, 3rd = 30 points, 4th = 20 points, 5th = 10 points.
- The winner is announced by head of graphics and prizes are awarded.
- If applicable, an additional prize is award if a submitters entry is chosen by HO, GMs etc... to be used in some official way.
