You can't tell me that it wasn't all a hoax in order to comfort the United States after the Soviet Union got Sputnik up. We were down and the government decided the only way for us to get back against them was to fake the moon landing. Im not saying we didn't eventually land on the moon, but we didn't in 1969.

The moon landing was real, I love conspiracy theories but the technology to stage it simply didn’t exist. The type of perpendicular shadow that you see in the pictures? Only could come from the sun. Nowadays, we could emulate it with millions of lasers...but that tech was infantile if around at all back then. And would’ve been too pricey, more so than, well, actually sending a ship to the moon?
Also, you think if the Soviets suspected USA faked it, they wouldn’t have called us out? They would’ve been on it in a flash.
Last thing is, they left reflective material on the surface of the moon to prove it, and you can see the flag with a telescope from your backyard.
