Team Needs EG Goalies - Durden - 12-07-2018
So, in thoughts of re-creation, where is the current goalie market at? Is it over-saturated, or are they needed? What's the SMJHL timeline looking like, what are the projections for the SHL?
Anyone have any ideas?

As far as I know, there's a wave of goalies from S42 leaving the SMJHL in one season from now. So S45 maybe not a huge market, but S46 will be prime. Halifax though will likely be drafting a goalie this year.

For the SMJHL there is some need in goalies, there was a lot of goalies created during the offseason. In S43 there are 4 sucessful goalies created, a couple are coming up this season, and others next season. in S45 there are 5 goalies created, but only a 1 is over 200, there is definitely a market. Looking at the Goalies of every team Buffalo is fine in FourFour for a little bit, though he is starting regressing.
Hamilton has a young goalie so they dont need one atm
Manhattan has a 707 goalie from S39 so it depends if he keeps progressing
Minnesota has a 800's goalie from S39 also
New England just drafted a goalie
for Toronto McFadden is still holding up but he's S29 so it depends on when he retires
WKP has bojo so no
Dragons have Kate VIlde so they are good on goalies
Edmonton Drafted a goalie recently
LAP has a 1k TPE goalie, but will be entering regression soon so they might be in need of restocking
SF Pride has 2 active goalies
Seattle had a semi active goalie so they might need a better one
Texas has walter hobss
Winnipeg has a 1257 tpe goalie who is about to hit regression
So there is a market, I nkow for juniors there is a need for one, Personally, Whalers need one. So it just depends on who retires, and if you can get more tpe than other people

SMJHL is starved of goalies.
ANC: S45 192 TPE fo the starting goalie
COL: 537 TPE (will be called up), next goalie S45 203 TPE
DET: 491 TPE still has 1 season left.
HFX: S43 220 TPE still has 1-2 seasons left.
KEL: S45 177 TPE.
MTL: 508 TPE still has 1 season left.
VAn: 438 TPE still has 1 season left (might be called up doe), backup is aging out next season
As for the SHL.. some teams like Toronto for example need to draft a goalie rather soon because McFadden is regressing hard. But usually it seems that the goalie market is rather saturated.
Other teams that I can see drafting a goalie soon are:
Winnipeg (current starter is inactive at 1257 TPE before entering his first regression season in S45).
LAP (current starter at 1078 TPE before entering first regression season in S46).
