Tougard Considers The SHL S46 Draft - Durden - 01-25-2019
Well, I previously ran down my list of options beforehand, and now things are getting real. The playoffs are just about upon us and teams will soon be drafted the S45 SMJHL Rookies.
In case you missed it, these were my last posted rankings:

Seattle Riot Now, I've actually taken time to look at the Draft Pick Tracker HERE, so as long as it's updated (and it says it was last edited yesterday) I'm good.
I remain solid on every single "Eh" ranking. I'm not willing to spend my career in any of those locations. If I get drafted there, that's fine as I've said before. I just will not be staying unless something miraculous happens during my initial year or two there. And with that time being spent in the SMJHL, I don't know if it would even be worth it for the GM to draft me, unless they're absolutely sure they can change my mind about the place. Again, this isn't a knock against the GMs or certain players on the team (I mean, in very rare cases, I guess), but is about the locker room presence as a whole.
I'm still not sold on the Specters, but I know JKort and I think there will be some great things done for that organization. We'll see more as the expansion draft comes around.
As for my top tier, this is where it gets a bit tricky.
According to the pick tracker, Texas has zero picks in the first 5 rounds. Nothing unusual there as we have a history of trading every single pick we've ever owned. So unless @dankoa finds a trade for a pick (in what I hope is the first two rounds), Tyler Tougard will not be a Renegade. Heavy stuff, but it's the reality of the situation right now.
The Los Angeles Panthers have only their first round pick, but then have 2 fourth rounders. I'm not sure I'd like to think about dropping to round 4, and I'm not sure what's on @Wasty 's mind when it comes to me and using a first for me. I wouldn't mind being a Panther. Again, I know a lot of the dudes there, the color scheme and logo is great, and duh, Wasty sigs.
The West Kendall Platoon are also without a first round pick this season. Again, not sure I'd be taken quickly, but not sure I'm dropping out of the 1st round (I'm keeping my hopes up, don't judge me). Would WKP take me here? Would they use their only top pick to snag me? I'm not sure.
And finally, the Calgary Dragons. While still on my top tier list, they have fallen in my mind a bit based on their recent performance. I'm sure that I could be a part of the impetus that pushes them upwards in the standings, but again, I don't know what they're thinking. The Dragons are ready and set to draft big this off-season, as they have 2 first round picks and 2 second round picks. They're sure to have a top three pick, but I highly doubt that gets used on me. But, also having a lower first round pick is promising for my plane ride to Calgary.
Again, I'm not sure what any GM is thinking. No one has approached me, and I don't blame them. It's a busy time of year, and I honestly don't think most GMs approach draftees. Unless I'm on the outside looking in and it's just me
.We'll see soon enough where I'm headed, and it'll be interesting to be in a (what I'm assuming) new location.

Not asking why at all. Just stating that I haven't been contacted, therefore my opinions haven't been swayed.
I'm speaking to the top tier teams that want me, or the middling teams that want to change my perspective. But that's on them. If I never get contacted, meh. I'll live. Still getting drafted.
