The regular season is over, and thus the playoffs begin. I have nothing better to do with my life, so I'm going to answer the question nobody asked: What happens in the playoffs if every team beats a team they had a winning record against in the regular season, and loses to teams they had a losing record to. Numbers next to a team is it's regular season position (for seeding)
Round 1:
(7) vs 
(10) In the regular season, Halifax won 3 and Colorado 2, so this one goes to Halifax. (7) Advance!
(8) vs 
(9) Detroit went 2-5 against Vancouver in the regular season, so by this (insane) metric for predicting playoffs, Vancouver get through. (8) Advance!Round 2:
(1) vs (8) Kelowna won all 5 games against Vancouver in the regular season. (1) Advance!
(2) vs (7) St Louis' final day victory over Halifax dropped them down to 7th and out of a bye, and brought Halifax's record against St Louis to 1-4. (2) Advance!
(3) vs 
(6) This system continues to predict the higher seed going through, as Anaheim went 4-1. (3) Advance!
(4) vs 
(5) Again, thus far no team has been eliminated that had the better overall regular season record. Anchorage went 4-1 vs Lethbridge, so they advance. (4) Advance!Round 3: The top 4 teams made it to round 3, so obviously this model is impossible, because at least one team will be memed out of the playoffs by Colorado. It's inevitable.
(1) vs (4) Kelowna was dominant over Anchorage this season, with ANCs only regulation win coming in their penultimate game of the season. (1) Advance! (2) vs (3) Anaheim picked up a winning record against STL this season, so finally, a worse placed team advances. (3) Advance!Final: Honestly if this is your genuine prediction for the playoffs you have issues but whatever.
(1) vs (3) Only Lethbridge and St Louis could manage a winning record against Kelowna this season, and neither managed to make it here. WIN THE FOUR STAR CUP (If you believe in bullshit predictions that are just blatantly wrong)We all know they'll drop out against Colorado in the second round.

Colorado has 18 playoff wins in the last two seasons with Cassius Darrow and Jakub Novak on the roster. Don't count us out quite yet!
