with the exhibition portion of the Season 46 World Junior Championship coming to a conclusion, the Team British Isles GM team of John McBride, Ed Balls and Seamus Gordonwas have come to a decision on who the team captains for the upcoming tournament will be.

The first alternate captain will be a defenseman hailing from the United Kingdom and a part of the Kelowna Knights team that went to game seven of the 4 Star Cup finals against the St. Louis Scarecrows. He had a great season and brings great leadership, Guy Zheng!

The second alternate captain for Team British Isles will be Montreal Militia forward and also born in the United Kingdom. He and the Militia were eliminated just before advancing to the 4 Star Cup Finals against the Kelowna Knights. He had a pretty decent regular season and will bring some good leadership to the squad, Jaguar Johnson!

And now, finally, last but definitely not least is our team captain. He was born in Finland and Halifax Raiders forward. His regular reason was not all that great but he stayed positive. The Raiders were eliminated by the eventual cup champions, the St. Louis Scarecrows in round two of the playoffs. He stepped his game up in the playoffs and showed a lot of leadership qualities, Jimmy Slothface!
