Team USA S47 Captains, Democracy in Action! - Scrufdaddy - 06-06-2019
Good evening ladies, gentlemen, and every loser who doesn't bleed Red, White, and Blue,
I come to you tonight with some grand tidings. The blessed wheels of democracy have been hard at work and I'm now ready to present the Captains as selected by you, the people.
With the 2nd most votes, the people have selected Jason Visser @ToeDragon84 to wear an A on international ice. At 17 season young, this spry center holds down our top line between two other young-at-heart old-as-history powerhouse veterans.
We had a 3rd at third most votes, so I decided we'll have these next two share the honors, it's what the people want. The people have selected Terrance Nova @sarmo and Otis B. Driftwood @Slappydoodle to share the 2nd A on international ice. Nova is one of the aforementioned top line veterans bringing a metric ton of experience to the lineup, while sweet young Driftwood is coming off an incredibly hot season serving up sweet apples in Calgary.
Lastly, surprising absolutely no one, the people have selected the all American all star Joe Kerchooie... Kachowski... Joe K! @JKortesi81 to wear the C on international ice. This stud has worn Red, White, and Blue since all the way back in S30 and it's only fitting we fit a C on those colors this tournament.
Red... White... Blue... soon to be Gold, let's get out there and spread some freedom.

It was kind of a last minute idea, but next time we'll share on the site LR too in case we're missing people in the server or they don't use discord
