So I decided to mess around with the CapGeek roster cap calculator and come up with a possible 2012/13 Sens team.
The following will need to happen for the roster to be possible.
1. Z. Smith + 3rd FOR N. Hjalmarsson
Already rumored to be in the works, it hurst to give up Smith but Hjalmarsson will be a perfect partner for Karlsson.
2. D. Alfredsson Returns
Althought no indication so far, I have a feeling Alfie will return to the Sens lineup for one more season.
P. Regin Comes Back Healthy
I've placed him on the 3rd line with Neil, and I would hope he would play there for a majority of the season so that he can learn a few things from Neil while also having Neil as protection.
J. Silfverberg, M. Zibanejad & M. Borowiecki Make the Team
All fingers point to these three as being the most solid canidates for a roster spot next season. So...why not?
N. Foligno & J. O'Brien Re-sign
Both are RFAs, so this one is simple enough.
