It has been a hell of awhile since I've written much media. However, I'm definitely in some need of funds and without a job... Well here I am. I honestly don't think I've ever done a ranking article... So why not drink a few Cabin Fevers and knock this out. This is now my third player since the Olli O'Koivu played in the net for Portland and Minnesota. Basically my last impactful player.

It has been a bit of time now since all of that whatever we want to call that unfolded... existed... shit show of a year plus on this site. I've gone to the SBA and EFL... had prominent roles, yet find myself back in the SHL. Creating another goalie and for once looking forward to a career that I feel excited for. There will always be the past, but being part of the Berserks has led me to a whole new high. One that absolutely replicates the vibe I had back from the S30 St. Louis locker room.

So here we go... In no specific order really, just how the icons appear on the right. Before though I want to lead into this saying that I really haven't done too much research into how these organizations have changed over the seasons.

Stampede

Alright... Lets do this one later.

Dragons

Same here.

Blizzard

Lots of solid users here starting from the top with @Keygan. When I came into the league they were at the top of their game. I know they have had recent success as well, but with a goalie like Emiko still in the maturing stage, I don't really see Cale ending up as part of the Blizz.

Steelhawks

The quiet seasons... I was draft here with my last player... and really went quiet. It isn't like I would not be appreciative going back to Hamilton, definitely as I'm in a different mind set. However, I just never felt like I vibed like I have with NF or Calgary as of recently. Many game them shit... However, they figured out a way to win WITHIN the rulebook and I know more than anyone it didn't take zero effort to find the holes they did. They figured out how to win with what they were given... and I can't hate that as someone who is guilty for going outside of the rules.

Panthers

Honestly, it is weird always looking at the management team and not seeing Bottas with Wasty. The time I spent in negotiations with them was pretty ridiculous. Regardless... Wasty has been here for ever and I will always have crazy respect for everything he has done for this community. Unfortunately, with the two netminders he does have... Amundsen is the last thing on his mind.

Rage

I have never liked Manhattan. I really have no reason other than the S34 SHL Championship. I mean, yes, I've never seen eye to eye with JY since I came into the league and his doubt in every goalie that created that season. My goal with my last goalie was to break records that Jakub Aittokaillo established... however AOV wasn't prepared mentally to endure what it would take to meet that standard. JY still gives me motivation... however should I ever play under him, I would have no issue.

Chiefs

What some fun seasons I had with Olli. Aside from @Baelor Swift I don't think there was anyone else that wanted to win worse than me that S39 season. I have guilt over how the time ended with Minny, but would never undo the friendships that were created in that locker room. That season was one of the best I've had on this site.

@Ace the man of this show. Sure I've read the threads as of late. It is what it is. I can't throw a stone at the glass house in any regard. So I'm not going to start now. Not only that, but I've been along side Ace in the past and would stand beside him again. We have all had a lapse in words we've said... decisions we have made... and people we've attacked. I wouldn't have an ounce of disappointment in being drafted by the Wolfpack.

Well fuck. Here we are. Tagging @Grapehead simply because he tells me never to speak his name. This whole situation is well known... However since this is my article, I have initial input. I'd be indifferent if drafted to San Fran. There are a few here that I absolutely would mind playing beside. @tweedledunn being the one that stands out the most. However it is a split between wanting to create a goalie that can establish records being part of the franchise that I started with... and then not being a part of the same organization that placed blame for the lack of success for nearly a decade and a half sim seasons. For the latter, I don't think I could ever find myself in gold and purple. It's one thing wanting to right a wronged ship, it's another in not wanting to read through past discord messages of disdain and finger pointing. I will always wish the best for San Fran.

Barracuda

I wish I really knew more here to be honest as Nikolai Evans resides here. I don't have a bad thing to say by any means... But I really don't have great things to say that stand out... Well out side of a goalie regressing and a future potential opportunity.

Renegades

God the hate that used to exist here. Lol... What's funny is a couple of guys that I actually grew tightest with on the site came from Texas. Honestly, I can't even think of a negative thing to say here outside of the fact that they don't need a goalie. Back in the day they were pretty fucking brash... They were hella competitive... and in a league like this, you can't ask for much more than that.

Stars

Another fuck me moment. Up 3-1 in the S35 finals... and we lose 4-3. I helped Rain out of a hole twice as a GM... and the last time will always lead me to hate the entire organization for seasons after. However, time heals... Going North would be nothing I would frown upon.

Platoon

One of the teams that I've always wanted to play for. Not even sure why... But @JR95 has always been one of my favorites. The effort he puts in... predicated by what Bojo did for WKP, I've always been a fan and that won't ever change. Even if I have a zero percent chance to end up here because on @Zoone16 's ass creating a fucking goalie. Why buddy... why?!

Jets

My interactions with the Jets stems back many many seasons. Flemmy was in control and we had many nights of PS4 under our belts in playing together. He eventually traded with me... I drafted Haz... and the Portland era came to be for a short few seasons. I never really had much of a rival aspect towards the Jets, because they really didn't stand in the way when we made a march. I don't say that in a condescending way either... Regardless of the shit I know that was shoveled.

Honestly I have no clue what to think here. Some great users... minus Kit. Even his inactive ass makes my dick harder than my first time watching Cinemax on a 28" tv in my living room at like 14. Good or bad... It is what it is. Lol... I can't hide this bone.

Specters

@JKortesi81 and @thedangazone if I had to rank users on the site they would make my top ten.... Simply on our past. Always positive... Always appreciative... Always uplifting. Both in SHL and beyond... There may only be one GM that I would choose to play for if I had to pick.

Stampede

Alright I will do it. Honestly, blood boiled at times. (See Kit comment). So much shit was thrown at one another during basically S32 til my own fuckery in the off-season prior to S36. I don't think I could hate actual website users more than I did nearly every single member of Buffalo. They made it easy because they also naturally weren't getting past the first round and somehow I had conjured the bottom dwellers of Portland to conference championships in back to back seasons. So I rode that high horse... and new what buttons to press... but they did as well. Regardless, I look back on alot of it... and now look at what these same users have done. They rallied together. They stuck it out. They rolled with the punches. Most of all they won. And they won it again. They have respect... and think @WannabeFinn is one of the most underrated GMs on the site. He builds a team. He creates camaraderie... and that is what it takes to create sustainability in the SHL. Now if I could just figure out how to change my fucking tagline to not read "Buffalo Hunter" that would be swell. Fuck.

Dragons

And here we are. A franchise many are programmed to hate... simply for endured success. @Steelhead77 has taken Calgary to heights that few will reach in this very moment... and then continues to push it higher. My time in Calgary as basically an inactive, both times, was one of the best times on this site. Between the friendship with members like Izzy and Baranabas (and many many others) the time spent in Calgary will be second to none. As a GM, not winning the cup was painful... but beating Calgary was a feat that I didn't expect to happen. Then when I actually joined the organization... I joined a team that carried the success that I could've only hoped to have accomplished... Most of all met some amazing dudes.

Ending notes on Amundsen:

I'm excited for the young netminder... To me it is a fresh start in a new sim that I have alot of experience in. I know how to build towards whats in front of me and I'm hungry to win. I'm not lying when I say I want to break records... The biggest difference I have this time around is having that experience in both the locker room and just enjoyment of the site. I don't have anything to proved with Amundsen... I just want to win... Most of all I want to find sustained success and am not indifferent to whom I play a piece to the puzzle in winning beside. There are more friendships out there to be made this time around and I look forward to every step.
