S54 SMJHL Draft Profile-Smith
#1

Name: Terrance Smith
Height: 6-foot-7
Weight: 210 pounds
Shoots: Right

Scouting Report:
This is what we call a physical specimen. And boy can he skate. The fastest dman in the draft, it can be scary seeing a player his size fly down the line. But despite his size he is not a very strong player, he's not a big hitter and doesn't check well. He's game is very well rounded, but nothing stands out except his speed.
He is currently the top TPE player among dmen (167). His bank account is very solid.
Rank (official AgentSmith) : Overall: 84 Defense: 17

Scout's Take:
"Some team is going to see his size and die over it. I wouldn't be surprised to see him draft early. But he doesn't really play the way you would expect him to. " -One Scout
"He played in only one game as a DFA for Coloardo, and he had a good game. A 70 DGR is good. I'd expect some teams to like that." -A second scout
"His size helped him at the younger levels. He never learned how to properly use it. Whoever drafts him should work on his physical game to turn him into the physical player he can be. His speed is killer as it is, add in some physicality and he is a scary player."- A third scout
"He's got all the measurable. The issue with him has been using them. He's fast and big but doesn't play physical. He's a project at every level. I'd expect him to be a force in S55, but he's going to have growing pains." -A fourth scout.
