Vertigo Season 55 in Review
#1

A season in review Damien Vertigo

Vertigo saw action In the regular season in the SMJHL and the SHL. His SMJHL record was 5-5-3 with 14 games played. and for the SHL he went 2 - 0 with the chicago syndicate. A not too good of a season but not to bad of one either. Vertigo will look to see more ice time next season with the kelowna knights for 1 or 2 more seasons before heading off to the SHL to be a back up behind Mat Smith or a 1 and 2 punch.

Playoffs

Vertigo did not see any playing time in the playoffs and for good reason. Peter Ramsey the starting goaltender was stellar and outstanding in net. having 40 - 45 saves a game most of the time. Kelowna did not expect to see the second round of the playoffs but the did before being knocked out in round 2. I think it was good for vertigo to sit for the playoffs he got to chill and see what the playoffs are all about. next season Vertigo may just be the starting goaltender. it all depends on if Ramsey gets the call up to the SMJHL. which if he does stay down I again would not mind. I am not very picky to be honest. very glad to be a Kelowna Knight. good season overall and expect Kelowna to come out swinging next season with all those TPE and updated. going to be a very strong season

IIHF: Vertigo recently was named to IIHF WJC Team Canada roster as the back up goaltender with Weaver as the starter. Vertigo will see some action in the prelims but I am giving the net to weaver as he has progressed super far in his career and has been a starter for his SMJHL team this past season. I think we are going to for gold and nothing will stop us on our strong and stacked roster that we have. lets go team Canada!

S56 goals: I would say possibly become the starter for kelowna but I am not 100% certain if anyones getting the big call up to the SHL what I do know is I will be maxed out for next season so either starting or a 1 2 punch in the goaltending department for the Kelowna Knights. antoher goal for next season would again ake the WJC Roster if I grind hard enough and hopefully do well enough next season. for the playoffs I am thinking we are going to be one strong team next season. we sold some players for draft picks next season and I think its going to pay off huge next season. I think we finish near the top of the standings and fight for the four star cup and possibly come out victorious. my goals for next season sat wise is as follows: wins: 25+ losses 10 or lower GAA: 3 or lower save percentage: 910 or higher. hopefully I can make these all come true.

in conclusion Vertigo is still developing his game in the minors. he has came quite a long ways especially coming behind his draft class and hopping in as a free agent late in season 54. only time will tell if his training and TPE saving has paid off. heres to a good season 56 and GO KNIGHTS!
