A career retrospective and introducing my recreate

Well, it may finally be time after all. I could ultimately fight my regression a bit longer but once the new season starts and Seattle is able to keep my player around for one more season, I will retire Thomas Vanice. Far from a hall of famer, Vanice never even came close to being a top player in the league and never won any awards. Nonetheless, I think in some ways Vanice had a decent career and had some solid seasons, especially with the expansion team of Seattle. My main goals for the last season are just to continue playing well and getting a few more counting stats for the Seattle team leaderboards which is something I am actually rather proud of with Vanice but know that ultimately he will get passed very easily once the career is done. That being said, currently I have the following ranks in the Seattle Argonauts team career history:
Tied for 1st in games played (314) 3rd place in goals scored (69) 2nd place in assists (141) 2nd place in points (210) 2nd place in hits (565) 3rd place in shots on goal (862) 4th place in blocks (321) Like I said, while not a superstar, I think I have definitely made an impact in this franchise at least. This is sort of the career summary for Vanice in general. I think I was never expected to do much and ultimately I haven't but I probably exceeded expectations. Drafted in an extremely late position, I was not just passed on by every team, several teams literally passed a pick before taking me. It definitely fueled me to be more active, but ultimately money was always an issue in my career, which lead me to try to save money for my recreate by the end of it. Taken in expansion by Seattle, I was actually surprised I was taken but I think ultimately I have given the team some things in return. I can't speak for them, but I think I was probably better for the team than could have been expected at the time and am happy with how things have worked out. While I am still not 100% confident I can earn enough money here to be a complete 100% max earner, I do think that my next career will ultimately be better than this one and I am motivated to finally make it stick in this league. I cannot afford to be a disappointment once again and hope that this time I will not be taken as late as I was last time around either. Besides my earning and my on the field contributions, I can offer teams a dedicated member and while I may not chat much in the discord, I am always around if you need something from me and am always happy to give scouting notes for people especially from the PBE and also maybe to a lesser extent the ISFL. I believe my sim league experience and expertise in those leagues can make me an interesting choice in the draft as a mentor for newer users or just a good locker room presence in general. My new player will most likely be a defender, I am not quite sure what the build may be yet, but I am sure I will get a lot of advice from some of my friends here. I haven't really tried a defender here before, so that will be a new experience for me. I think maybe that takes away some of the pressure of scoring as well. As for the render/player name, I recently watched Wallace and Grommit for the first time and fell in love with the character (and name) of a specific person in one of the episodes, so I present to you: The future SHL defender and enthusiastic knitter: Wendolene Ramsbottom
