As part of the Analytics App, I have been trying to sort out and create a database of all players that have been drafted at some point in the SHL. Using a lot of the information gathered by Luke in previous years, I went through all of the draft posts to corroborate the information. One issue I found was that the early seasons of the league did not look at GM picks the same way as we do now, but fortunately Luke had managed to find a lot of that information already.

This is the resulting data sheet of all players. As we can see we are coming up on the 63rd draft just in a couple of days, but what is most interesting is if all calculations are correct, the first pick of the draft will be the 3000th player ever to be drafted (including GMs) to the SHL.

I'm still looking for a bunch of usernames to connect to these players, especially the older ones. This project has had a bit of a lower priority these past couple of months but I hope to get back to it in the coming weeks.
