Del Vecchio to test Free Agency?

The mood in the locker room during cleaning day was grim. Expressions on the faces of the players, thinking of what could’ve been, what if they had won game 6 and pushed it to a winner take all game 7. What if they had performed a bit better, an extra goal, that pass that was missed, that save that wasn’t made. So many what ifs lingering around. As the players looked around and met the gazes of their teammates, questions began to form; will they be back? Will they be traded? Sign elsewhere? Who knows?
One of the few questioning their future is goaltender Luca Del Vecchio, who put a lot of blame on his shoulders this season, “I have not played well this season. Even in the playoffs I let in too many bad shots. I’ll have to take the off-season and figure out what went wrong and where I go from there.”
When asked if he was expected to re-sign shortly with the franchise that drafted him, he was brief in his response, “I don’t know, I need time to figure things out, explore options, see what’s out there. I don’t close the door but I just don’t know”.
The draft and upcoming free agency will be happening in a week from now, stay tuned to see how this develops.

Heya everyone, if you’re reading this, I’m just probably going to go into FA to see what’s out there for an ageing player. Goalie market has historically been garbage and I might just as well finish my career with the Platoon, but I’ll at least give it a glance and weigh my options just like I did with my first player. My player has played like absolute garbage this past season and I am very disillusioned with FHM as of now. How long does my player have? I don’t know. I’ve had a lot of fun sucked out of me in the past few seasons that this might be it for me as a user after this player is gone, which is in part why I want to have a look around in free agency.
