Team WORLD Roster for the S65 Tournament

Dublin, Ireland: As the reporters shuffled into the room, it was obvious they were ready for another roster announcement. Their phones were at the ready to record another General Manager rambling off a list of names so the reporters could play it back later and type them up as the official announcement, then the lights went dark and a strobe light started to flash as laser lights reminded those in the room of the beauty of Star Wars as the heavy bass-laden music pounded across the floor.

The image of the world, flags swirling around before they landed with an explosion for every country as the player's names were called.

The lights dimmed and a soft, pale yellow light fell across the room as General Manager Otis Boudreaux and Assistant General Manager Anthony Dionne walked to the podium. The room fell silent as the echo from the baseline bounced around the room, fading into the void of noise. Otis adjusted the microphone and with a determined look said with a booming voice.

We are the WORLD Squad and we are ready to make a statement in the WJC!

Once again, the room fell silent as Otis pushed the mic into the podium and caused an explosion of sound as he and Anthony turned and walked resolutely out the door as they were followed by spotlights that went off to leave the room in momentary darkness before the stage was flooded in the light of a giant map covered in waving flags of the team members.

We are not sure how the team will perform, but the team introduction definitely made a statement!

Yeah I hope everything goes well and we have fun (and some wins haha)!

We have some players that were there last season, so the team leadership will probably be some of them. We also have some rookie who did not play in the S65 SMJHL so a mix of everything.
