Hello and bonjour everyone! It was another exciting season here in Montreal. The team continues to make strides in becoming a strong SHL Challenge Cup Contender, and we remain confident in the path we are on.
Finishing with a franchise high 83 points, and going 39-22-5 in the regular season. We secured our first franchise post-season victory, even if it wasn't enough to make it through to the 2nd round.

Our goaltender and beloved Wall brought home the John McBride Award for his outstanding work in the blue paint, netting the very first individual award in Montreal Patriotes history!

Outside the SHL hardware, we had notable performances from some new faces to the Patriotes: Sconnie McHits, and Dwayne Gretzky essentially took over the Montreal offence this season, putting up impressive performances and point totals.

Kriss Darzins, the Latvian Legend, continues to defy regression and score goals at a truly alarming rate. His veteran presence on the team has been a profoundly positive influence.

Looking ahead, we have and exciting rookie coming up in Shylo Moxii, who was part of a Four-Star Cup finalist team in Quebec City, and named to Team Red for the SMJHL All-Star Game. Shylo also netted the Robert Martucci Trophy for leading the SMJHL in Goals during the regular season. We are very excited to be calling Shylo up to the Patriotes and we're excited to see what he can bring to the ice at the SHL level.

With that in mind, we have some Team Awards to hand out for Season 66!

The Stan Din'desque Award for Leadership is an important part of Patriotes history, and this year I am proud to announce the winner is Mads McBride (@NJBadApple). NJ has been a wonderful and inspiring locker room presence from the get go. He offers a steady voice in the war room and is always diligent in checking in with the team, making sure everyone is doing okay. A true Patriote, and an excellent teammate.

The Golden Poutine Award for Team MVP goes to Kriss Darzins! (@lilstifler). Kriss Darzins routinely outplays his contract, and provides a magic scoring touch to the Montreal offence. Laughing in the face of regression, Darzins finds ways to astound, season after season.

The Guy Lafleur Memorial Award for Best Forward goes to Dwayne Gretzky! (@3lewsers). Dwayne led the Patriotes in points, and was absolutely electrifying on the ice, performing night after night, and consistently putting out strong performances. What an amazing debut season for Montreal! We can't wait to see what comes next!

The Ray Bourque Award for Best Defender goes to: Jonathon Hagan! Our fearless leader @CampinKiller steps up on the ice, with Hagan being an anchor on the blue line. Leading Montreal defenders in points, and blocking 155 shots more than earns him this award!

The Rising Star Award for best Young Players goes to Mads McBride! (@NJBadApple). Mads had a terrific rookie season, finishing 3rd on the team in Goals, and winning a nomination for the Rookie of the Year Award! Besides his on-ice play, we've already covered what a great locker room presence NJ is, and he is quickly becoming a fixture of Patriotes hockey.

That's all from me, I just want to extend a final thank -you to all my teammates and the friends of the Patriotes, for your continued faith in me as co. It's been a tough year irl for me, and this team has been a huge comfort and happy place for me. You guys rock, let's keep these good times rolling.
