First 3 round Rookie Scoring Race

I was inspired by @39alaska39 and I wanted to look at how all the rookies were doing in the current scoring race. I quickly realized how long of a task that could be, so I took the first 3 rounds of the draft. A few things really popped out at me while going through this process.
1. Obviously, it doesn’t matter when you were drafted. There are scoring leaders from everywhere in the draft, I know there is an inactive from round 5 with 20 points so far this season. Draft pedigree does not matter. 2. Opportunity is KING, the better the opportunity the more likely you are going to score. 3. Playing on a stronger team has its advantages. These points are just in general as there are some who play for a struggling team but have taken advantage of their situation, Theodore Svatos is a prime example. On defense you can tell by looking at the points who are offensive (or atleast two way threats) and who are defensive defense people. Rookie goalies are so close right now in stats it is crazy. In my mind their win loss ratio while obviously important to their team’s success isn’t a true indicator of how close they are. GAA, save % and even shutouts (which I forgot to add) is so close it is crazy. Please enjoy comparing, anyone not on the list take a look at your stats and you can compare yourself to the others on here. GOOD LUCK in the second half of the season while getting prepared for the playoffs!
