Talking about Sir Devoir and my experience with him
#1

h Hey guys and gals and everything in between WildfireMicro here to discuss what has been happening with Sir Devoir as of late. Honestly, the ending of the IIHF tournament for Japan could not have been any less disappointing. Sir Devoir went home to Baltimore in the first round in an upset despite being on top of the Round Robin standings I believe. On the plane ride back to Baltimore, Sir Devoir had a lot to contemplate. Now before you say anything, this will not in any way shape or form be a "trade me" post or a "going into free agency" post. This is mostly just gonna be me rambling about my experiences with SHL.

I honestly love the people in the Platoon locker room, and I do not plan on leaving there anytime soon. Our GM is great at communication and the locker room is plenty active and full of great people. I created Sir Devoir on a whim after I could not replace the render and name on my WSBL player a second time (remember that short lived basketball league? Rest in peace) and I really wanted to have a Gallade render because I had a really good idea on what to do with his backstory, so the SHL was really my option at the moment. I have had some unfortunate experiences in the SHL beforehand that is all now really old news and water under the bridge so I won't be going into them now.

Sir Devoir was quickly chosen by IIHF Japan before he was even approved to be their goalie of the future, and was eventually drafted by the Maine Timber. I have to thank Maine for being amazing back then and now, as they definitely helped me feel welcome in their system and locker room and we're a big help with making Sir Devoir who he is right now. Eventually, Sir Devoir was picked rather late by the Baltimore Platoon, and I have absolutely no regrets with that, even if we haven't won a playoff series since I was there yet. That Atlanta series from two seasons ago is still a bit of a bruh moment in my head unfortunately.

But HHH and the rest of the guys keep me feeling happy and involved, even if my SHL cash has unfortunately been floundering as of late. Sir Devoir is coming close to 1600 TPE, and even though I honestly doubt he enters the 2000 club, I am proud of what I have been able to do with him as of now. I am hoping to eventually get a cup and maybe a gold medal or two underneath my name in the fourms, and I want to do that as Sir Devoir wearing the Platoon and the Japan colors. I feel like I have not been as active as I could be unfortunately lately, and that has just been because of my real job. But I am doing my best to keep up with everything and be the best teammate I can be. Also apparently I have been one of the most prolific people in media writing recently according to this article , so that's cool.

Anyways thanks for reading and I hope to see you all on the ice!
