The SHL draft is always the most fun part for me when it is time to get drafted again. As to where I will end up, I do not know. I will however, speculate based on nothing except feelings. As everyone knows, feelings do not care about your facts.

Where I've been before:

New England Wolfpack - Drafted as 1OA in the S57 draft, New England was truly a great place to arrive to. The wolfpack was for a long time my family on the site and where I thrived. As the management changed, I found myself to leave rather fast after only having played there four seasons.

Manhattan Rage - My second team in the SHL and also where I spent the most time. Seven entire seasons before being sent away for my last season at SFP. Here I found a reignited spark for the league after a while and started earning again and getting so very very close to the cup.

San Francisco Pride - I only spent one season here, didn't really talk a lot in the LR and then went on to retire.

To summarize on possible earlier teams. Did I build any strong connections with them? For sure I did with NEW and MAN, less so with SFP. Conclusion is therefore that likely candidates here remain the first two of the three teams I have been on.


Where I know, or have encountered, the GM from before:

Baltimore - hhh81, we've found each other in randomness through me being a DFA in Colorado when joining the site as well as sharing the Swedish national team. Probably more time as well that I am forgetting. Potential? Maybe!

Manhattan Rage - I've encountered both of the GMs multiple times through multiple means and spent seven seasons on their team. I'd say our relationship is pretty solid!

New England Wolfpack - Even with the new management I'd say I still have a decent connection to the team. I think both I and Luke find each other as fun guys when we share a server. Definitely good connection here.

Minnesota Monarchs - My old GM pal from Detroit who went away in a hurry to take control of his own SHL team. We share many good memories and personally I consider this one of the better connections to any GM!

Texas Renegades - I was the one to scout and draft CapnCooper to Detroit and so very happy with how that turned out. It feels great to be on the other side of the drafting table with one of your previous prospects. Truly amazing to see!

Winnipeg Aurora - I spent time with Ace in the LR of NEW and so we know each other from there. Still, it was a while ago. Possible good connection?

And to summarize here, I think MIN and TEX are the ones where we have gotten the best connections as persons but I would not count out the connections from previous teams such as MAN or NEW either.


Now, who have I had good draft discussions with and where do I want to go? I either do not now or I do not intend to share. I also have yet to talk to a lot of these new GMs that did not have a chance to scout me or get to know me since my last player. The league is evolving and I have no idea what connections and conversations that will happen over the coming days. If anyone wanted to get some place to put me into a mock? Yeah just slam me into a random number generator and go with that. It's a good a guess as any! (I do hope some of the teams I have mentioned do reach out to scout me if you haven't already cause I quite like most of the mentioned destinations!)
