Story of an Alternate captain...A Yukon Story.
#1

This has been an exciting Season 78 for Dash Jackson and the Yukon Malamutes. Being named alternate captain of Yukon is a tremendous honor for me as it's been a long time coming. When I first joined the team as a fresh-faced undrafted young prospect in a new sim game, I never could have imagined the journey that lay ahead. Over the seasons I've grown alongside many teammates and shared experiences. As the seasons have gone by, I've seen teammates come and go, but there's a core group of us who have been together since the beginning (season 75/76 Class). There's a certain comfort in knowing that we're in it together, supporting each other through every challenge that comes our way.  As an alternate captain, I am tasked with not only representing my team on the ice but also being true to the Yukon name and the past captains. On the ice, I am expected to provide support to the team captain, lead by example, and have great communication between my teammates, the captain and my GM's, Being a positive and motivating presence in the locker room and during games is essential.

Off the ice, I aim to keep up the standards of sportsmanship for my teammates and always have their backs. Whether interacting with fans, participating in community events, or engaging with the media (and the possibility of another teammate as we seen with Engyn) I am committed to representing my team with the utmost respect and integrity. Being named alternate captain has pushed me to further develop my leadership skills, Trying to be more vocal in the Locker room, have a say and show my teammates what its like to have fun! I have learned the importance of clear communication, remaining composed under pressure, and continuously striving to raise the bar for myself and my teammates. Ultimately, being named alternate captain is a humbling privilege, and I am dedicated to fulfilling my duties with lots of emotions and pride for Yukon. It is an opportunity to make a positive impact on and off the ice and to contribute to the legacy of my team. Because the next thing you know your time in the Juniors will be over and the story must be rewritten again.

Want to thank @Fluw and @BadWolf and all of my teammates voting for me and taking a chance on me. Gives me a huge bode of confidence moving forward and trying to be the best player i can, god willing of course!

This could be potentially a 2x media piece as it's my 1st ever submission. The rules were vague on it so i left out (2x) in the title because of that.

THATS MY QUARTERBACK! Well deserved A!

“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”

I think of nothing else, it consumes me.
