Chicago didn't know what it was walking into last night. The Winnipeg Aurora's offense had a banner night, which was led by the great James Ward Prowse. JWP opened the scoring just 8 minutes into the first period, finding the back of the net. With the Syndicate on their heels JWP would serve an apple to Jay O'Neil just eight seconds later to double the Aurora's lead.
But JWP wasn't the only one looking to run up the score. Poiklm would add on to the lead with a beautiful pass from JLC and O'Neil to put the Aurora up 3-0. JWP would not be outshined, and mere minutes later found the back of the net for his second goal of the game. Wow, it is 4-0! Poiklm would again try to find the net, but it was Ben Jammin who found the back of the net and made it 5-0 in the first period! This is a rout! This is a shock! Where has this team been all year? The second period started off quietly, and Leo Roze would get Chicago on the board. But Winnipeg was quick to answer. Cob O'Corn took the puck coast to coast for an unassisted goal, it was glorious! 6-1! But Cob wasnt done yet! Poiklm would connect with Cob to score a second goal, making it 7-1. That's wild! But JWP knew there was one left in the tank. Less than a minute later, JWP would find Duncan MacKenzie through JLC to make it 8-1. This was such an impressive game for Winnipeg. JWP was the best player on the ice, opening up the scoring and leading the team to victory. But the blowout wouldn't be complete without Poiklm, what a show of offensive greatness? I think Winnipeg can do this every game. They just need to bring it. If they want it enough, Winnipegs Offense will outscore any team any night of the week, and everyone knows it. (326 Words)
