Deep Dive #1 A moment of nostalgia

Hello and good day my fellow league-rs, this is Unjusttelevision coming at you with a moment of personal nostalgia. As I read over the rules for the deep dives ( as this is my first one on my recreated player file ) I realized something... this is my first deep dive on my recreated player file ! I am told I should write about a team or a player and thought maybe there's a grey area where I can write about my OWN player of the past and the teams I had played on. Formerly known as Joshuacorcorantwitch or JayCT I started my very first Simulation Hockey League experience thanks to a friend of mine who is no longer involved in the league ( went afk around the same time I did originally ) who's name was DrB1gmack, or at least that is what I knew him as. I was eager and excited to get drafted and learn the ins and outs of the league. Very quickly I caught on to some things like obtaining as much TPE as freakin possible, AND other things it took me a while longer, as in I SUCKED at creating grapics and to this day am an example of the lowest scoring graphic possible if you click the little example thingy for 0 points you will find a poorly put together Scarecrows goalie standing in front of the city. When I discovered this recently I laughed so hard but I digress. I was drafted to the scarecrows despite my poor graphic creating skills and fell in love with my team and the locker room banter. In fact things eventually went so well that I was recruited on team Canada and I did really well for the team ! The ONLY reason joshuacorcorantwitch ever went afk was work and home life got reallllyy tough for me for a while so I had to take a hiatus. NOW 4/5 years later I am back and boy am I putting in the work to not only be a better graphic creator so I'm no longer infamous for my poor skills but ALSO putting in the work to be an even better team mate and pull out a few wins for my current team
 . I felt so special when I made team Canada I couldn't believe that I had actually been able to keep up with all the TPE earning, training,coaching additional moneys earned while also keeping my goalie attributes well rounded. This time around I will be staying in the J's for as long as possible so when it comes time to move on up I will have a BASKET of TPE to unleash and when my new team tells me what they need me to build I will have no doubt in my mind that I will be able to make it happen. Originally I was aiming to land on the Newfoundland Berserkers due to the fact that it is my home province but I quickly found out that no matter where I ended up so long asthe locker room was lively and we all worked together ANYWHERE I went ended up being an amazing experience and I truly believe that this time too. Though, Berserkers if you hear my plea, a man can dream and we do cherish a hometown hero... maybe one day I'll see you around. Until then, LETS GO TIDAL.

This is more of a media piece than a deep dive. The idea behind the DD is to delve into the league and examine it in greater detail. If you'd like to rewrite and submit feel free to tag me and I can reassess. |
