S81 SMJHL PT #6 - One Season at a Time Due: Sunday, March 30th @ 11:59 PM PST
#46

I'm happy to say that I accomplished everything that I wanted to in my rookie season, even my most lofty goals were met. I wanted to have an assist-heavy season with good defensive numbers. And while my defensive stats aren't great, they're pretty decent in the rookie class.
In 66 games I had 17 goals and 31 assists.

Then in the playoffs, I won the cup with my peeps in the Kraken!!
While playing in a shutdown role, I still managed 3 goals and 16 assists in 22 games. In the first round of the playoffs, we went down 3-0 and then came back with a reverse sweep. One of my 3 playoff goals was the game winner in game 7. That was great moment while watching the sim.
I couldn't be happier with my rookie season. The season is still ending on somewhat of a bittersweet note. A few key LR players are peacing up to the SHL and our gm is promoting up to SHL gm.
Still, I'm looking forward to whatever is the next chapter for the Kraken.

As an offensive defensman, I think I did good! Playing with a stacked Carolina team and with the best players in the J definitely helped me getting there. I got some good minutes on the special teams, but not that much on the power play. I'm totally fine with that! I need to learn from the best before playing these minutes. SON is a gem that needs to be polish and he had a great rookie season. Finishing as the leader in points in all of Carolina's defense is something special for a rookie and I'm proud of what SON did this season. 39 points in 66 games as a rookie is pretty damn good right?! He showed that he can be a great quarterback for Carolina and I hope that this is only the beginning for him with Carolina. Let's hope that SON will be able to win another cup with Carolina before joining the pros in the big league.

It has been a long ride! This Kelowna Knight team has been so fun to play for. We made it to the finals. We unfortunately lost the cup. But we will be back next season.

I am happy to say that I have been able to make a difference in this team at the best of my ability. I played defense and try to help this team out best I can. My twin brother and I will be back next season to take this team to the promise land as some say. We will try to bring this team back to the championship. Carolina beat us plan and simple. They played very well.

So, we will get back to it this off season. Work hard and get a game plan for next season. Some might say take one season at a time, but you always got to prepare yourself and the team.

Swiffer Sweeper performed to the best of his capabilities. The Scarecrows were limited by their abundance of rookies and lower TPE; however; our tactics kept us in the running throughout the playoffs. Our lines played as well as they could, and that's all you can really ask for. Swiffer was a decent passer and scorer, although his giveaways were through the roof, so there's room for improvement there. On opposing power plays, Swiffer was an excellent defender and even scored a few shorthanded goals during the season.

This season will always be memorable for St. Louis. We were a subpar team that everyone thought would be a first-round exit in the playoffs. Instead, the Scarecrows toppled two decent teams and went to the conference championship series. Without our amazing GMs, we never would've stood a chance.

Here’s to an awesome inaugural season for us rookies, and here’s to our upcoming draft and futures in the SHL!

It was a wonderful rookie season. Things are tough when you're the newbie both on a new team but also in a new league. You wonder if you're going to be up to the level everyone expects you to be. You wonder if your skills will mesh well with your teammates. But i would say that Holeh Guacamoleh and his teammates gelled quick. As a team we finished in a successful but modest 5th place but unfortunately had an early playoff exit. It happens to the best of us. holeh showed to be quiet the player showing his ability to facilitate the offense with 25 assists. While not lacking defensive skills there were some soft spots in his lines ability to put good runs together which resulted in a miserable +3 for his plus/minus. there is a ton of positives and a lot that leaves you wanting more with the potential that was seen. Now its time to move forward as a team.

So it has finally come where Maximus Decimus Meridius has finished his first season of being a falcon and though it wasn't the prettiest for Maximus and his team this season he definitely learned a lot from it and is excited to grow during the offseason in his own skills and also the chemistry of the rookies and team. The Falcons would end up 2nd to last in the league this season going 22 wins, 43 losses, and 1 tie racking up 45 points. Maximus himself would rack up 34 points with 15 of them being goals and 19 being assist pretty even. Other than that all of his other stats is what you'd except for a rookie to have with him not putting any crazy numbers up. He is grateful for the opportunity to play in the league and is ready to get better and stronger over the offseason.

Sethastierikko Goslavechnaaliemiooketkov feels pretty good about his first season on competitive ice. He put up some solid numbers up in Quebec, not quite the rookie of the year, but some certainly fine numbers. His contributions throughout the season would help the team to a first-place finish in the regular season, though unfortunately the Citadelles would not be able to make a postseason run, exiting in the second round. Seth is looking to make himself a more important piece on the team in the coming seasons and really wants to step up his point production. It's just hard work from here for Seth, who believes that a Quebec "rebuild" is just a myth and is certain that come the end of this next season, his Citadelles will be in it just as much as they always are. It's time to lock in and prepare for the move up to the big leagues here soon.
