The last death in a formula 1 grand prix race was Ayrton Senna in 1994. The two deaths following 1994 were not associated with Formula One World Championship and one of them was driven by a 60 year old man who probably should not have been racing an F1 car.

Glatz was driving a vintage F1 car in a race that isnt associated with F1.  I hardly call that a death in formula 1.  He was 59 and far removed from formula 1.

Still, most racing leagues have had deaths
