If anybody is a math wizard I could use some help in my course. It's less of a I couldn't do it and more of a time constraint.
“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”

A rectangular field is enclosed by 140 metres of chain-link fence. Give an expression for the area of the field if the width is 'x' metres. What is the maximum area of the field?
Its using quadratics if it helps, I have been stuck on it forever.
