In what looks to be a very strong upcoming junior draft class, prospects look to impress the teams as they prepare for the season. One prospect, Walter White, or "Heisenberg" as he is known around the league, looks to make a lasting impression. He had this to say:

"My name is Walter Hartwell White....or as you may know me, Heisenberg. I don't know how to say this, but I have cancer. Lung cancer that is life threatening and could kill me withing the next year. I am not trying to make you all feel sorry for me. I do not want to be drafted out of pity. I will not accept donations or the easy way out. I am looking to make a name for myself in this league, and I will become the best."


"I will not lie, I do not know much about the SMJHL as a league, but I sure as hell know the chemistry behind the team sport of hockey. I have it all down. The strategy, the team, the on ice play. All I need is a team to draft me, that way I will be up against some of the top players out there and prove my worth. Everyone will be saying my name upon entering the SHL after this junior season."


"Draft me, and I promise I will not let you down. You will be getting the best "stuff" out there on the ice when you draft Heisenberg. Thank you for your time."
