Games 92-94 SMJHL S21
#1

Game 92: Regina Force vs Vancouver Whalers

This game started as any other starts, quick skating, quick stick handling, and quick scoring chances but nothing notable... until after the 6 minute mark. A penalty would send the Whalers onto the power play and Drew Myers would make them pay with a bomb from the point. The Force would only feed and motivate the Force as they would come back to score 3 unanswered goals before the end of the period courtesy of Ochocinco, Pitaniya, and Trill. The Force wouldn't wait long to again score only 3 minutes into the second to be up 4-1. The Whalers would come back with a fury as Abel and Laflamme would bring it within 1 to enter the third.

The third was a high octane, fast period where both teams were finding chances but couldn't find the net. Sterling Knight did find it once however midway through the 3rd to tie it up and send us to OT. In Webb would be the one who sends the missile to the back of the net to decide this one.

3 Stars

1 - David Webb (RGF)
2 - Edge Ochocinco (RGF)
3 - Justin Cunningham (RGF)

Final Score: Regina Force-5 Vancouver Whalers-4

Game 93: Montreal Impact vs Kelowna Knights

Another high scoring game from The most explosive offense in the SMJHL. They would start with a Csonka point shot to opening up the scoring which would be answered by a Conn Thompson snipe. Leonidas would prove that he really is one of the greater forwards and tie up the game to end the period up 2-1. The second was all Kelowna as they would get help from the supporting cast of Ziggler and another from Csonka. The 3rd was all Impact as they would score 3 unanswered to tie up the game in a very sloppy period and send it to OT. The OT would not last long as Mr. Modano scores his 13th of the season.

3 Stars
1 - Merit Csonka (KEL)
2 - Conn Thomson (MTL)
3 - Etienne Modano (KEL)

Final Score: Montreal Impact-4 Kelowna Knights-5

Game 94: Vancouver Whalers vs Detroit Falcons

The Whalers would own the first period showing undying Endurance as they continued to pressure the Detroit defense into submission. They would score 3 unanswered to end the period up 3-0 with a statement. The second period would be no different as 2 power play goals were given to the Whalers for 5 unanswered. The Falcons would muster a power play goal for themselves to end the period and a little momentum. They would continue to score goals but the damage would be too much. Tuzis added 2 goals to end the game but they would prove to be irrelevant.

3 Stars
1 - Barney Tuzis (DET)
2 - Jay Robinson (VAN)
3 - AJ Willison (VAN)

Final Score: Vancouver Whalers -6 Detroit Falcons-4
