With the draft being completed and the free agency window opening the offseason is now well on its way. As a result Elyk is in need of some money. Feel free to ask a Elyk anything you want, SHL or non-SHL related. You can think of this as kind of like and AMA (Ask Me Anything) Session if you want. Elyk is looking forward to your questions and can’t wait to answer them.

Since we are a young team we are only getting better as time passes so I also expect to have a better performance in the playoffs. In terms of pancakes or waffles I have to choose pancakes. Pancakes are even better when they also have chocolate chips in them too :D Quote:Originally posted by MacPack@Apr 1 2015, 01:24 PM
1. How you liking Winnipeg? 1. Winnipeg has been great, we have a great LR and a great young core that is progressing quickly. My time in Winnipeg so far could not have gone any better. 2. The LR is great, it is pretty active especially during times like FA and the regular season. We have a great mixture of people along with a fairly mature LR which is good because it means we never have any drama. 3. Littleton is great, he is the best GM in the league and ever since I got to Winnipeg he has been great to me (he gave me a chance to play in the SHL right away and also named me a captain as a rookie). 4. I feels pretty cool and special, if you told me that I would be an alternate captain of one of the SHL teams before I every played a game in the SHL when I first joined the league I wouldn't have believe you partially because I was so confused when I first joined the league and didn't know how anything worked lol 5. When I was traded at first I was sad obviously because it was the team I was drafted by and the only people I really knew/talked to were on that team because of all the force players that were drafted by NEW. When I took a step back though I was excited about the trade because it was a new start and I figured I would have the chance of having a bigger role on the Jets. 6. The league has been great; I'm on here all of the time. I was hesitant at joining at first which caused me not to join for a few months but I'm glad I did. 7. Sure, I don't know if this will ruin everyones "mirage" about my name but the story behind my name is Elyk is Kyle backwards. When I first chose it I never thought it would be as big of a deal as it was lol 8. Right now I'd say Morley he has a good all round game. 9. In five years I'll say Merica, I think in 5 seasons Merica will establish himself as the leagues best forward. 10. Right now: Willie Weber (good Defensive Dman) 5 years: Razin, you could already make the case that he is the best Dman right now but in 5 years I think he will be the best d-man playing along side another good d-man in Chuck Goody. 11. Right now: Lauris Prikulis this past season he showed why he is the GOAT  5 years: Jackson Weekes: he is an S19 draftee but he's already passed 1000 TPE! He is only going to continue to get better. 12. Predictions: Here are a few (some are more bold than others :D) Winnipeg & LA will finish top 2 in the West New England & Manhattan will finish top 2 in the East Winnipeg Will win at least one playoff round Texas won't live up to their hype  Merica will lead the league in scoring Quote:Originally posted by JackCross@Apr 1 2015, 01:38 PM
If you could host a roast of one Jets player, who and why?I would choose Ziggler except he is inactive and is in the minors so I would instead choose Satan, I don't know why but I think he would be a fun person to roast and he'd be able to handle it well  <!--QuoteBegin-Å atan@Apr 2 2015, 02:06 PM Best part about playing in Winnipeg? Prikulis for league MVP, yes or no? Why? Can the Jets repeat their surprise performance this season? Key to the Jets' success as a team? What do you think allowed the team to rebuild so quickly? Favorite food? Thoughts on Texas gobbling up free agents like Lays potato chips? Most underrated player on your team? On another team?[/quote] 1. We have a great locker room & GM and we also have a good young group of players in Winnipeg and we are getting really close to becoming legit cup contenders. 2. Yes, first of all his stats alone are MVP worthy but he also was them main reason for our team success. Without him I don't think we would have been able to win the presidents trophy. 3. I think the Jets can and the reason is because we are returning this season with practically the exact same roster but all of our young guys like myself has gotten better, the only difference if I'm not mistaken is we added Linkos and Myers. 4. I think the keys to Jets success as a team is good goaltending and everybody doing their job. Prik tends to give us a chance to practically every night so if everyone can do their job we tend to get the W. 5. I think what allowed the team to rebuild so quickly I think that Leafs made some good move that benefited the team long term and they also ended up helping right away too. Everyone staying active and updating their players also helped fast track the rebuilding process too. 6. My favourite food is portably either Cheeseburgers or Pizza lol 7. Good for them, they were able to get some good players, but I'm not sure if they will be able to live of to the hype surrounding them 8. I think I'd have to go with Einstein, he had a great rookie season and looks like he is going to develop into a great player but for some reason he doesn't get as much recognition around the league as others. I'm not too sure about other teams since I don't follow them all too closely so I don't think I have enough knowledge of all the players to make a decision

How you liking Winnipeg?
What's the LR like? What's Littleton like? How's it feel being the first captain junior in Jets history (you must have impressed) Were you as sad about leaving New England as I was seeing you go? I had planned to have you develop into a ridiculous sniper. My Corey Perry so to speak. Someday maybe well get the chance. How are you liking the league? Every going to reveal your players last name? Best Forward Player in SHL right now? In 5 seasons? Same for Defense. Same for goaltending. Predictions for this coming season?
