Nah, nah Lucic trade was good. Getting a 1st, Jones, and that other prospect was more than I expected for Looch, who has been rather inconsistent over the past few years and definitely overpaid. But that was the only good thing he did today. Getting Zboril at 13 was the right move but other than that, yep, today was the worst day to be a Bruin fan. Worse than the day Seguin was traded for Eriksson and some throw ins and worse than the day Thornton was traded for marbles. Also worse than the day they lost to the Flyers after being up in the series 3-0 and in game 7 3-0. And certainly worse than Joel Ward's series winning goal and the social media shitstorm that ensued. Needless to say, I'm probably done with the Bruins as "my team". I'm the type of person who is primarily a hockey fan so it's not all that difficult to toss the Bruins to the curb but I've been pretty pissed since the Seguin trade. Hamilton and the gross overpayment of McQuaid was the final straw and Sweeney's draft performance clinched it. Can't believe I'm saying it but fuck Neely more than anything. He's run this franchise into the ground (he was a driving force behind the Seguin trade, too).

Lucic, I have a special bit of hate for him because he went from a player I liked to one I despise. I said somewhere before I loved his original take on all comers power forward style, then he became a bit of a douche and then a sour puss with the Weise bit. Just don't like him but his value as an enforcer and intimidation factor as well as some ability to produce for Jones? Not sold, kid was good in a few starts but came down eventually.

And I would have likely burned my jersey over the Seguin trade. God, what the fuck was Neely thinking there.

And lastly, Boychuk. Seriously, I am not a Bruins fan and I felt bad for guys seeing that. Dumbass move.
