why is detroit struggling so far?
Not entirely sure, but most likely due to our lack of depth. Many players were called up, and another retired. We currently sit sixth in the league in both goals for and against. With players developing as the season has progressed the team has been improving quite a bit. We had a very slow start, only 5 points in our first 9 games, but in our last 10 games we are 5-3-2, which is very encouraging heading into the second half.
When are you gonna fire dat scrub Co-GM Nikitin?
Never, although I've heard a rumor going around that he will be leaving the team in the offseason. Cannot confirm or deny.

To what do you attribute the recent turnaround of the Falcons' season?
A combination of our current roster training hard, along with new acquisitions. Our team is very close in the LR, and I'm sure that chemistry translates to on-ice success as well.
You've been active in signing a lot of players mid-season, how does this fit into your long-term plans for the team?
Going into this season, there were a lot of holes that needed to be filled. We were able to cover most of our bases at the draft, but not everything, especially since our drafted goalie went inactive.
B.J. Cobbledick has been a huge asset and will likely have the starting job in S26 after Lemieux takes flight in Winnipeg.
Sven Karlsson was brought in as a depth center, but he is very quickly climbing the ladder and proving himself as a hard working athlete. Look for him to be on the second line going into the playoffs if he keeps up his efforts. Lastly, we have our newest guy
Justin Novastar. Detroit is quite lacking on the blue line, aside from captain Clayton. Our 2nd man is an inactive send down at just over 250 TPE, so I need all the defenseman I can get. Novastar will likely be on the second D-pairing for S26.
