Good news from the hockey world today, as the prospect Left Winger Ben Klinkhammer has been accepted in the S26 SMJHL Entry Draft that its location will be announced soon in the later days.
Ben has shown to have good passing skills as the left winger was getting ready to be drafted after showing emotions this morning when he learned the news. The whole family, friends and fans from all around the hockey world we’re excited for this young gun that has a chance at becoming a powerful passing Playmaker, even they decided to throw a party at his native country as being the first Burundian hockey player to be eligible to play in the SHL Prince George GM: After getting the franchise back seasons ago, I would like to have the kid on my team after seeing what he can do on the rink personally, and there is no doubt he can get the role of a Top 6 forward, if he keep getting some more training off-ice, expect this kid to be a full force power Playmaker. That was what was said by the GM Rublic, after showing interest to sign the Left Winger; he even said that he could be put on some PP time! Ben Klinkhammer: It would be a big, and great step for me to get that Top 6 role, as I get closer to play in the SMJHL, I feel like I can do a lot of stuff to help the re-born Franchise to the Cup. If I already got the attention of Prince George GM, I can already feel I am important to the Organization, and not just them, but also others to come. The winger was happy after he got accepted, he loved that he has already caught the sight of a GM, but he also have some competition as some other prospects are also in search of getting pro S25 SMJHL season is in full swing and look like it got some really heated battles all year long. For a struggling team like the Firebirds, or the Falcons, as they fight for the first round draft pick, the Mammoths also on the chase, everyone look like a winner, but it’s not only the first pick that matter most for LW Ben, but he believe that he can go high enough to become a top pick overall, with of course, other prospect fighting, working hard to get as high as possible. Ben Klinkhammer: It will all come to that Prospect Tourney I heard they do. I don’t for this year, but if it does, I will surely make a big impression to make myself to get noticed more. People these days want to be strong hitters, clinical finishers, but not many will choose to become terrific passers, which I am looking to become great at, good passing, some speed and hands and also to improve my strengths to keep the puck when hit, that would be enough to keep me in the game and make those horribly tricky pass. That’s the way I want to be After the interview with the media, Ben left out immediately to train more to what look to be his Strengths, but what seems weird was that, if he wanted to train his strengths he could’ve just gone to a gym, but, he instead when straight to the ice rink,… with some really heavy weights. Trainer: He already has that body of a SHL Playmaker, but his lack skills that he doesn’t need, which is fine for his play style. For now all I have to make sure is that he doesn’t ruin himself by hurting his body. The only real thing that I would tell you for sure is that, once he is with a really well minded top notch scorer, his IQ will definitely be boosted a lot by a mile. He will become more of a Henrik Sedin-Nicklas Backstrom kind of Playmaker, and those are big superstar names. Once at that level, he will be a complete star. As you see, even his trainer got some really high hopes for his trainee, and we couldn’t expect more from a young fast Playmaker. Ben Klinkhammer: I think the thing I am going to fear more is no doubt the media, those people, no idea where they brainstorm themselves to find those tricky and weird kind of questions, and the fact that they absolutely watch the whole game and every detail to find good question is absolutely incredible, so I am hoping to ignore as many as I could, because something really bad may slip out my mouth and I always feel under pressure more than playing 1v1 against a goalie on a breakaway in a game 7 Cup Final OT period, everyone don’t want to be in that situation, Trust me! For a player like I would have 20% of scoring because I am more of a passer than a scorer! Other than that, Ben also told us that he was the proudest many man in his country for accomplishing such an important event, and also taking it with honor by giving example to other countries that has no chance of snow but still loves hockey. Ben Klinkhammer: As a kid, my parents we’re always encouraging me to try new things, and at age 10 we moved to Canada, from Burundi, and that’s where I started falling in love with the sport. At first, I didn’t like the fact that it was this cold, but I got used to it, even saying that it is hot when it is -3. Well we first moved to Vancouver, and then we moved to Edmonton for more outdoor hockey with my team. I got selected 5 times in the provincial’s tourneys, being 2 times MVP. If I can stay like that I would be proud of my career. After knowing much about hockey, it’s really great to see Ben getting adapted to the game over here. Ben Klinkhammer: If I didn’t become a hockey I would absolutely be a soccer player, but there is no doubt to the fact that, no matter how my life was going to unfold, it would be a sport career anyway. We finish off this report article by saying that, after learning so of the fact on the Left Winger Ben Klinkhammer, he has neither a great nor worst potential to become a great player to watch in the following seasons.
